1. What is the largest diamond ever found?
The largest diamond ever discovered is the Cullinan Diamond. It was found in South Africa in 1905. The rough diamond weighed approximately 3,106 carats (621.35 grams or about 1.37 pounds) before being cut into several large gems, the largest of which is known as the Cullinan I or Great Star of Africa. This diamond is part of the British Crown Jewels and is kept in the Tower of London.
