IGI is the most popular certifying institute for lab-grown diamonds and is used by most labs, resulting in a consistent rating across the lab-grown diamond industry. This allows consumers to easily compare lab-grown diamonds and be confident they are getting what they are paying for. You will receive a certificate with every diamond 1 carat or larger.
To ensure consistent certification, each lab-grown diamond is examined and certified by an IGI gemologist. Using a very fine and precise laser beam, each lab-grown diamond is marked with the report number to guarantee you the origin of your diamond and its authentic certification. This marking is invisible to the naked eye and can only be seen under a jeweler's loupe. This does not affect the quality or light performance of your diamond in any way.
